What are the active ingredients in Marvelon?
It contains two types of female sex hormones: progesterone, whose active substance is desogestrel, and estrogen, whose active substance is ethinyl estradiol.

What are the side effects of Marvelon?
• Headache.
• Gaining weight.
• Breast pain.
• Mood swings.
• Stomach problems such as nausea and abdominal pain.

What are the precautions of using Marvelon?
It is not used in the following cases:
• Clots in any part of the body.
• The presence of a disorder that affects blood clotting.
• Inability to move for long periods.
• Having a heart attack or stroke.
• Angina pectoris.
• Jaundice or severe liver disease.
• Suffering from migraines.
• Unexplained vaginal bleeding.
• Breast or uterine tumors.
• Suffering from diseases that increase the risk of arterial clotting, such as severe diabetes with damage to blood vessels, very high blood pressure, and very high levels of fats in the blood.

Can pregnant and breastfeeding women use Marvelon?
It is not used in pregnancy or breastfeeding.
